Dodo Leather Kit

I have the leather cleaner and sealant kit and used it about 6 weeks again, to good effect. How often are we thinking the leather seats and trim should be cleaned and re-sealed, after relatively light useage?

I did see a marked improvement after re-treating so I am thinking monthly(ish)?

Is there no kind of directions from the manufacturer about re-aplication?
I generally clean my leather monthly and it barely leaves any marks on the white MF towel I use to clean with

So if you have light to moderate use and wear on them id say that once a month for sealant seems excessive....

No. Not that I can find, hence asking. Added to that, user experience invariably yields a better guideline. So, from what you say, just apply the cleaner monthly, over the last coat of sealant?

I use the dodo combo every couple of months. In between I find a damp cloth just wiped over is enough

If your not seeing any deterioration in the properties on the sealant then I would just clean when required and then when you start to see the sealant failing then reapply

HI There

When we are recommended a care regime for leather, whether it be car interiors or furniture, we would generally advise that every 3-6 months, you should clean the leather with a product like our Leather Ultra Clean. The Ultra Clean is a general cleaner which will remove any dirt and grime from the leather’s surface. Although it is a strong cleaner, it is safe to use even on all leather and vinyl. You may find that you also benefit from using the Tampico Brush, as this will help to remove the dirt/grime which is trapped within the grain.
When the leather is dry, apply some Leather Protection Cream to add an additional protective layer to the leather to help protect against spillages and make the leather easier to clean in future. It even contains UV inhibitors so is ideal for car interiors.
