Collinite 845

It might smear a tiny amount with the wipers but it isn't 'unsafe'

won't it just come off with the windscreen washer fluid? The anti-freeze inside it strips most wax if i'm not mistaken?

I’ve used it on the windscreen, didn’t smear, held up longer than you’d think but yeah the screen wash wears it down quicker than the side and back

There are many people that have stated that they get great results using Collinite on glass, but as per the official company stance (from their FAQs page):
6. Are any Collinite products recommended on exterior glass, rubber, vinyl, plastic, metal?
Glass, Rubber, Exterior Vinyl/Plastic trim-NO
Metal-YES (No. 850 for coated and non coated aluminum, stainless steel, chrome, brass and copper) *No. 850 is NOT intended for painted metals.
