Honda CRX restorative detail

So yet another retro cleaned up after a paint job, and what a little belter!

As with all older cars I don't like to introduce lots of water through normal washing, so the wheels were cleaned, and then it was put in the surgery to have an ONR bath and clay

I stripped off a few bits to allow better access

As always, started with the bonnet, the gains to be had were evident immediately

Then onto the bumper

Next up I went down the sides, so took the opportunity to do the door cups first

A closer look at the deep flatting mark

A couple of natural 50/50s to show more gains

Another natural 50/50

Next I moved to the rear where there were lots of deep flatting marks

The car was then given another ONR bath to get rid of any polishing dust, and was refined before being prepped with optimum paint prep, and coated with optigloss gloss coat. I wanted to add as much UV protection to the single stage paint as possible. Then the details were taken care of, like exhausts, glass and interior

Not many around in that condition. Great work as always. Red colour adds to its retro square Japanese lines.
