Karcher Pressure Washers

Ive treated myself to one of the small Karcher pressure washers. The one I purchased has a detergent tank on it. Can I put car shampoo in there, if so will it make the vario lance work like a foam gun???

Cheers all

I remember when i used my pw with shampoo it wasn't anything like foam really. Mainly due to the fact the ratio of shampoo to water wasn't great enough and also the shampoo didnt have lasting suds. You cant really build up any foam because it pumps out that much water it washes it off again too quickly.

I suppose it depends on the ratio that your unit mixes it though.

The internal mixer is not as good as the foam lance, its a worthwhile purchase for this time of year.

The foam lance is great fun.

Need to make sure you get your mix ratios correct, I put far too little amount of Hyper Wash in (forgot the contents foam lance is ratio'd down 128:1 by the Karcher)
