""""A mining Mini, now all clean again""" Do you remember the inside

This is a follow on from this Mini i did

http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=291481

So today i cleaned up the insides

and boy did this car need it

First of a massive thanks to Chrisc for the loan of George, without him this job wouldnt be any where near as good cheers Chris

So where to start

first place the Docs for my jabs, after my inoculations on with the blue nitrile gloves and away we go

heres a few shots to show you the state at the start of today

Drivers seat

Passenger seat

Quite a state, never seen as much dust, dirt, crisps, sweets, hair, screws, nail clippings, paper, parking tickets etc etc etc

The whole inside was first hoovered out with Henry
Then all the hard plastics were wiped down with Autobrite F.A.B @ 4:1 dilution, the plastics were cleaned with little brushes, microfibres, swabs.a sponge ,also a bucket of clean warm water with a dash of G101 for bite also used was a

" a large industrial tub of elbow grease",normal household elbow grease just wasnt cutting it

the fabrics and carpets were wet vacuumed with George and again FAB @ 4:1 dilution

After drying down with microfibres the hard plastics were treated to
Orchard Autocare interior wizard, applied by a microfibre applicator
this is a cream like product, after 10 mins or so buff it off to a dry finish, its very good for plastic dressing

As always c+c welcome so onto the pics

Remember.... "new" Mini has been around (including development since around 1998) cassettes were common. And that looks like an early cabrio to me...
