Polishing aluminium top box

Hi all,
I've got an Expedition aluminium top box on my Triumph Tiger, and it's looking fairly sorry for itself.

Any tips of how to properly polish and protect this to bring it back to life?

(apologies for side-ways shot, thanks Apple)

Givi have a video on their site -
They've cheated on their 'after' shot. Looks like some fairly generic polish.
I've got a DA, M105/205, and plenty of waxes, but wanted to see if anyone had some guidance here first before I start into it?

Thanks,
Tom

I would have a go with the Britemax twin metal products...

It is worth having a look at the Zephyr polishing kits on ebay or other places but they use a rotary rather than da. there are extenders and other bits that can be added. The results however can be spectacular.

It depends how much you do as to whether a kit is worth it but items can also be purchased individually.
