First time machine polishing - My results

Hi all,

Firstly I want to say thank you to everyone on here that makes this such a great community and thanks for all the help and advice I have been given since I joined in September 2016.

I got my new to me 2004 Reg Honda Civic in April 2016 and have gradually been learning the many different techniques to get it up to a reasonable standard.

Over the last 4 or so months I have been dabbling with my machine polisher and although my skills with the machine and my camera are very limited I thought I would brave it on here and show my results.

I have been using a DAS6 machine. I did the first stage on the bodywork with CG Green Hex pads & Sonax EX 04-06 and used CG White Hex pads & Sonax EX 04-06 on the plastic bumpers and skirts.

To finish I used CG Black Hex pads & Sonax Final Finish.

If you have read this far here are some pictures after I washed the car today and applied some OCD Nebula wax.

Thanks for looking.

I was about to say 'considering the age, it looks great', but I'd be pleased with those results on a much newer car!

Nice work, especially for a first time!

That looks like a nice tidy result. From what I can see the headlights look a slightly dull , you could use your skills and have a bash on the headlights now to sharpen it up even more.
