Here is the link on the Autosmart site.

https://autosmart.co.uk/catalog/prod...a/category/84/

It's an upholstery cleaner, so is designed for use on carpets and fabrics. If you want to clean plastics, use an appropriately diluted all purpose cleaner like G101, then dress the plastics with a trim dressing like finish, pizza or dash dandy.

Great, thanks! Yes that's why I was getting confused because I saw it said it was for carpet and upholstery only. I've had to resort to ebay for my Autosmart haul, but mainly because I want to try the smaller quantities first to see how I get on with them. For the interior I've got Ulphostry and Interior Cleaner as well as G101 and then Finish to dress the plastics afterwards. I think that sounds like a good selection? For exterior I've gone with Smart Wheels, Tango and Cobalt. And of course some obligatory air fresheners

Oh Lord. Mebby it's a new trend lol. In fairness, pizza wouldn't last too long on my dash lol. That was an autocorrect fail and not a Freudian slip lol.

Note to self: check posts in future.

Had a go at applying some Finish to the interior plastics. Very impressed with the factory look. I diluted 1:1. I didn't find it as night and day as Autoglym's Super Sheen, but I like the finish it's left behind. Seeing as I've mixed Finish with water, will it keep for a fairly long time or will I have to chuck it out and remix another solution? Reason I'm asking is because currently I'm only using it on my car so there's only so much interior dressing I can get through!!

Don't worry, it'll last for years, just shake it before you use it

Hi there,

Just confirming what you guys have said already, the Autosmart product you are after is Brisk Extra, luxury upholstery and fabric shampoo, containing fabric brighteners. Available in aerosol or bulk for manual or machine use.

I bought Brisk Extra a couple of weeks ago to use with my new wet vac. Ideally I should've bought the low foam version, but I haven't had any issues so far. I also have Autoglym Interior Shampoo, but chose Brisk to use with the wet vac as it has the optical brightners and felt it might leave a nicer result. You can't use Brisk to clean plastics as it can stain them, so I use AG Interior Shampoo for plastics & Brisk for seats, carpets and mats.

Another use for finish that'll help you get through it would be to dress wheel arch liners. That's what I use it for
