Question New Car Paint - Can You Improve The Finish?

One for the Pro's on here I think!

Other than wet sanding to level the surface is it possible to improve or enhance the finish of new car paint prior to the application of an LSP?

What would you recommend for use by hand?

Thanks,

Alan W

Thanks for your reply James.

The car is a new Mini GP in the only colour they come in (Thunder Blue/Pure Silver roof) and was not prepared by the dealer.

The paint is very good (no marring/swirls etc) and only needed correction to a couple of minor marks.

The LSP will probably be a Zymol Glaze (after HD-Cleanse) but I'm keen to maximise the gloss before doing this, hence my post.
