Continental Tyre Bulge

Have a slight bulge on the wall of a Continental tyre so presume it would be a safe bet to replace it, the car is only 2 years old and the tyre has only covered 2400 miles.

Yes always replace defective tyres. Those 4 corners keep you and your passengers safe.

I would replace straight away I have had a blow out travelling very fast and you don't want to experience that I can assure you.
I would take pics and details of millage and email conti re this as tyre could have had a fault from new if not been kerbed or damaged that is or pot hole

Weakenign of the tyre side wall - could be from kerbing, pothole, tyre levers when fitted / replaced, or manufacturing weakness

At that age you will get nothign back from Conti or tyre place - just replace (and check others too if the same age/batch, both inner and outer faces just in case it is a poor batch)

Yes definitely replace it, not worth the risk as you don’t know what damage has occurred in the tyre wall.

As above.
Replace it. Some of the wire strands in the tyre have failed / broken for whatever reason. Tyre integrity is now compromised.

Also check some suppliers include lifetime warranty on tyres for accident , defects etc,not sure about claiming on it but worth checking the invoice if you still have it as well.

Thanks everyone, new tyre ordered, not bothering to following it up, as it may be my own fault, can remember hitting a gigantic (judging by the sound!!) pothole a couple of months ago and surprised no bodywork was damaged when I came to check it out.
