Hi all, I have just purchased Pure and will be using it over the next couple of months. The instructions in the box state that car can not be driven for 24 hrs after application which is no problem. The thing is I have no garage to put my car in out of the weather and was just wondering after the cure is applied over the Pure will the car be protected from the weather outdoors ? Thanks in advance.

Pure will probably be curing for a week if not even more. Thats why Cure was made...to provide some extra protection to let the coating cure.
The car can be driven after a few h (after cure) but the longer you can let in in the garage the better.

Hi Andrew,

Q˛ Pure has one of the fastest curing formulas in the whole Gyeon range (right after Q˛CanCoat). And the highest water spot resistance as well. And this is end of good news, as it's not advised to apply the coating outdoors. The fact, that we state that the car can't be driven in the first 24 hours does not refer to anything that will happen when the car drives, but to all the impact that is connected with taking the car out of the garage.
The manual states clearly: "Never apply a coating outside a garage or detailing studio. Never work in direct sunlight/outside. "

Why is it that important? There are multiple reasons:

- you don't want to scratch your car when dust settles on the paint;
- you are not able to foresee the weather;
- coatings require stable conditions in terms of temperature and humidity.

The moisture in the air is one crucial elements of the reaction on the surface and the coating transforming into a gel-like substance and finally into a hard, transparent layer. Once this can't be controlled, no one is able to predict how the application is going to end and what result you will achieve.

My tip: Do absolutely everything to get a garage for the job and keep the car for at least 12 hours inside before you take it out!

The application procedure? I'd find it reasonable to ask Nanolex directly, they know their product by heart and can answer according to their knowledge about the product.

No, Q˛ Pure is not a top-up product, but a regular coating which needs the surface to be prepared and degreased. You may install Q˛ CanCoat over Q˛ Mohs if you want to top it with something.
