G101 instead of snow foam.....

As anyone used Autosmarts g101 as a pre-wash instead of snow foam? I'm running low on snow foam so considering giving g101 a try providing it won't strip off my lsp.

Most snowfoams will reduce the life of lsp ( even those which say they are wax safe). It all depends on the strength. A very weak g101 will do less harm than a very strong snow foam. So yes you can use g101. It will not foam that well but at the right dilution it can be an affective pres wash. It is an APC, so will clean as other APCs

Hi I use g101 for a lot of jobs, and have as a pre wash via pump sprayer but not as foam, I used it at 50ml of product to 1 Litre of water but it doesn't remove a lot of traffic film, and used at higher dilutions it can etch the paint, obviously more on soft paints, it comes out with a light polish but not good if you just want to wash etc. Id use a dedicated pre wash/foam for the winter months, are you in the trade as Autosmart do some good tfr's/foams.

Another one for Autosmarts foams and non costic tfr's also consider a citrus wash like valet pro's or car chem's.
