The price of 5 litres from your AS rep will be very good value as compared picking up 500ml of other products. It's the type of thing that you will always have need of and it never seems to go off.

If you can't get hold of your AS rep, 5 litres of Car Chem's version is a good alternative and from what I've read, comparably priced. Either way, you're getting about 10x more product for double the price of a 0.5l bottle

Power maxed tar off is on par with Tardis. Also cheap at eurocarparts when discounts are on. Comes with a chemical resistant trigger too

One not mentioned is purge from obsession, unlike most tar & glue removers it doesn't have the heavy solvent scent instead its a nice citrus scent and it work as efficiently if not better

That citrus smell is because it's got D-limonene (ie orange oil) in it. Gyeon Tar is similar. It's not as aggressive an organic solvent as the spirit based ones, particularly Tardis which has a higher xylene content than most. That said limonene won't stain trim

Just used Bilt Hambers clay on my car and it removed everything had what I think was tar all over my car after driving on a fresh road the other week, but due to being away from the house I couldn't remove it right away - Autoglym tar and glue remover and Auto Allures remover didn't touch it, although usually good products, so tried clay for the first time and wow!!! Genuinely so impressed by how well it worked - Removes all sorts of tough fallout and tar!

I'd go to your local main garage and find out when their AS Rep comes then buy a bulk load of stuff
