The problem you probably have is that you are only using it every now and then. If you read the blurb on some of the lambswool mits they state must be used every couple of weeks and must be kept slightly damp in a sealed bag. This could be your issue?

I've had mine for approx 2 years used weekly. Sometimes 2 cars a week and only last week have I opened up a new carpro mitt and relegated the last one to lower panels. I've never given them any maintenance and merely rinse them with fresh water after use and place them standing back in my buckets.

Interesting. Not heard about this before, found my previous post about the other one.did a search under wash mitt question.was left to dry natural.does seem a bit odd that it has to be used regular.so maybe its my fault then.will look into it

I bought a lamb skin mitt from cyc a while back.

Only got round to using it a couple weeks ago, I've used it twice and already 2 clumps of hair have come off of it, never used one before and my initial thoughts are they seem extremely fragile?

Don't think I'll buy one again.

People seem to have trouble with lambswool type miits. the wool is "woven" into a backing material and clumps of wool can come out.

Better to buy a sheepskin mitt. This is the actual hide of the sheep. Nature has done a very good job of making sure the wool stays attached to the sheep.

Hi Warren,

Can you email me photos to sales@carpro.uk.com and subject line FAO : Craig - RE WASH MITT ISSUE

We pride ourselves in the quality of all our items and if it has failed in a short space of time we'd like to send you a label to return it to us directly at CarPro UK for inspection, if found to be a manufacturing fault, we will replace it.

Kind Regards
