Although I have most that are listed I'll keep it simple BH Autowash fairly cheap and so economical and a great cleaner.

Personally, I've always been happy with Autoglym's "Bodywork Conditioning Shampoo" - I've found it to be good at cleaning, but it also imparts a water-repelling and corrosion-inhibiting layer. It doesn't foam up (AG say it's intentionally low-foaming), but it is very slick and lubricating. It also smells like Rowntree's raspberry/strawberry jelly (to my nose), which can never be a bad thing!

I've been buying the "professional" (trade) range version, which comes in 5l tubs for about £26. It's dilute 1:250, so it does last a while (I use about 8l of water in a bucket, so I use 30ml of shampoo, meaning I get about 165 washes out of a bottle, working out at 15.5p/wash).

Dunno if that's any help!

EDIT: I've not used it, but the Bilt-Hamber Auto-Wash gets very good reviews, is more highly-concentrated (making it easier to store), and works out about the same cost-per-wash.

Garage
Have a chat with savvyfox on here about Galre Ultra Wash

Not a pure shampoo, leaves down glassoplexin behind and an amazing gloss.
