Oryx white GTD
Thought I'd show you lot my Golf GTD after only owning it for about a month.
A few months ago I decided I wanted a GTD mainly because I do a lot of miles and it ticked all the boxes. So I found this 1 owner, low miles with full service history and it had a few extras, Oryx white paint instead of the usual flat white, heated seats and an extended light pack. So when I first got it I gave it its first proper clean. Jet washed with my new karcher K4 Washed with lambs wool mitt and fairy to strip the old wax Dried with pd drying towel Fallout removed with ab purple rain Jet washed Tar removed with an just the tonic Jet washed and then washed with pb super slick and suds Dried for the final time. Car was looking loads better already without all of the little black spots down the sides and thankfully there was literally no swirls in the paint, or very little. So now was on to the protecting stage. Af tripple applied with foam applicator and buffed Gtechniq C2v3 Here's the finished product ![]() ![]() ![]() Overall I was pleased with the results. Oryx white looks amazing in the sun, more or less impossible to photo it though. |

Since I did the big clean on the car only a month ago, I'd done around 2000 mile so it was time to give it another wash.
Jet washed 2bm wash pb super slick and suds Dried with pb and wowo drying towels Then I used bouncers beadjuice on a microfibre cloth panel at a time buffing it up afterwards to leave me with this ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The wheels had been off the car the week before so I de ironed and sealed them then and just wiped some beadjuice on them this time to keep up the protection. Couldn't believe how well it has come out, was certainly worth the effort. Only thing is now, everybody wants their car doing! |

As the sun was out for a change yesterday I gave the car a quick clean and managed to take some better pictures
![]() Managed to get a couple showing the flake in the paint ![]() ![]() ![]() It was the first time I'd really seen my car in the sun light since I did the mini detail on it a few weeks back and I'm really pleased with it. |
