Suggestions on BMW

Im having trouble getting anywhere with an e39 that I recently bought.

I've some of the old Menzerna polishes, PR085 is heaviest and then Meg UC, which have always done the trick on previous cars (which have been newer BMWs to be fair, so not as damaged)

I've bought flexipad orange hex pad, and also flexipad microfibre cutting pads, and some old megs foam pads, but still not making much headway so I'm thinking it's probably a polish thing.

I'm seeing Scholl s20 mentioned everywhere so worth a go? Or a sonax product?

Any suggestions welcomed

I use s20 black on my golf which is hard paint like yours.. leaves a lovely finish and has good correction. Definitely worth a try with hex logic green, orange and potentially white pads if it's only light marring. Always start with white and see how you get on

s20 is a great all rounder, pair it up with the right pads and you can get a perfect cut+finish on most paints with just that one compound

When used the orange hex it covered the car in small scratches. Unless its a really old paint faided car. I would stick with green hex and try 3m fast cut plus. Failing that try a farecla Gmop. Just my 2pence worth.

I went with Koch Chemie H8. 02
Brilliant

Used orange hexlogic and flexipad cutting microfiber pad on the worse areas, 4 or 5 passes on speed 4, das 6 pro
Even did well with some old 3inch megs polishing pads on the bumpers and tight areas
Really impressed, highly recommended
