Bilthamer Auto foam help

OK so switched to B/H from V/P pH neutral snowfoam and struggling to get it to the ame level of effectiveness as I was seeing from V/P.

Can anyone advise what mix ratio they find works in the 1l normal foam lance?
I had found with VP that about 75ml in a litre gave me a great long lasting dense foam, but having tried 50ml up to 200ml can't hit the sweet spot and get better than a thin watery consistency.

Am I missing something obvious?

Hi pal.

I feel your pain as I bought some as others rave about it.
It does not give a thick consistency at all despite trying varying ratios but it's known for this.

It's cleaning abilities are what others rave about but I found it to be pretty meh to say the least. As always, horses for courses but it wasn't for me so I moved it on.

Those that love the stuff will be along soon to advise you on methods/ratios etc...

Have a read here: http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=400542

Your mixture will be too weak.

There is a thread on here somewhere of the BH foam and a run down of how to measure up the dilution ratios. Someone on here might know how to link that thread for you. (I'm just a newbie on here)
The foam relies on a somewhat accurate mixture including taking into account how much water your pressure washer displaces to cover the whole car to your liking.

hope this helps.

I had the same issues with the BH foam but had 5 litres to work through. Followed other people advise and tried it in a pump garden sprayer and found it worked much better, if you have one I would give it a go.

Pump sprayer all day long, if you make up small quantities and use hot water it’s second to none.
