Paint Protection FIlm: Machine polishing.

Are you there any specific polishes out there to do a PPF or will the normal 3M system (yellow top) do?

I had stone chips on the rear arches of the 911 4S PPF patches. Obviously did their thing.
Was informed they are not expensive, but loath to remove as the panels had CC.
It was an experiment.
Used the Rupes iBrid nano on DA for 40mm pads, started with yellow and Fine cut, then green and medium cut, but they were not making much headway.
I found the course blue pad and course product was the only one that slowly worked.
Good lesson and would go straight to the last setup next time. I would stick with the iBrid, even this creates heat and I would not risk a larger 90mm tool.
Results were very decent and 95% corrected. On Stock white it mattered.
