Ive always been into vans especially the escort type, i thought id share with you a few stages along the way from a standard van to hopefully fingers crossed show and work van got to look good when using Turtle Wax,
Starting off the white van !
With a base colour added this will be the final colour choice
onto the seats which are going in which i will be trimming myself pair of snug Recaros although rather grubby but at a bargain price
Started to strip the headrest today so ive a template to work from
Got along way to go and huge plans will keep it updated :thumb:
I had a mk5 as a company van for my old business.
All show and no go unfotunatley, it was unfinished.
Full cosworh kit, M3 mirrors, 17" tsw alpines, fiesta Si wing backs etc.
I shall be keeping tabs on this as i like vans.

The van isnt bad as it is now but not enough for me, keeping the rear doors although they are smoothed with electronic boot release, got skirts to go on plus the seats as you can see, the dash wont look like a mk6 dash once finished :thumb:
I will be watching this with interest. Many years ago a mate of mine built a MK4 RS Turbo van, we stripped it to a bare shell and fitted everything from a written off RS Turbo including the engine, lsd gearbox, loom, brakes , front suspension and all the electrics.
We had some great fun with it !
Here's a couple of pics of a rather special esc van which used to be local to me, was running 4 wheel drive and had a v6 engine from a scorpio iirc. Was a mag featured van too, looked nuts, just thought i would share the pics with you incase you were looking for inspiration.
