Odd Fusso99 question

Sorted out my brothers 5 series about a month ago and finished it with Fusso.

He's reported that when he cleans it, upon rinsing he sees images of the foam applicator pad i used to apply the wax when the water is sheeting off, and it sheets round these images and then off the rest of the panel.

Im guessing its the first dab down of the applicator pad when ive loaded it with wax.

Anyone else seen this? And knows how to rectify?

It cant be seen when its dry thankfully, only when rinsing.

This could be caused by over-applying or over-drying. Take care to apply very thinly, and buff off sooner rather than later, working panel-by-panel (or maybe even smaller in hot conditions).

In terms of fixing it now, you can remove the Fusso Coat with a solvent like Soft99's Silicone Off, and simply reapply to that area. Fusso Coat is a hybrid between a wax and a coating, so you can patch areas without affecting the durability so much.

Buffing off was unsuccessful IMO. Happens with tough waxes usually like Collinite. They are more fussy and difficult to do correctly. Not your fault, it is very hard to see on the day
