Cheap DA to get in to machine polishing

Hi all,

I’m now at the stage where I’d like to take my detailing up a level and get a DA.

But being a beginner I don’t want to spend much at this time.

I’ve seen this on amazon and just wondering if anyone’s had one or got an opinion on it?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/100371-Poli...76%3A419158031

Thanks

Craig

Thanks I have an amazon voucher that I got for my birthday so I’d really like opinions on the one I’ve posted.

I did do a search but nothing came up for that model or any other cheap DA’s available from Amazon, I have got up to £70 to spend...

Cheers

Craig

I see, in that case im not much help, it looks very similar to other cheap machines that work well.

it looks the same as the argos one, just a different colour.

I use the Argos one and it's fine, but bin the pad and backing plate and replace them with better ones. also you may find the power cable a bit short but this is easily sorted

Keep an eye on ebay this weekend as I know a good starter kit will be going on, Das 6, pads and polish and carry case included

Have a look in the Personal sales section on here. Someone may be selling a decent Das pro

This is THE starter machine to have. Its tried and tested, reliable, and anything you need is readily available, you wont need to ask anymore questions about where to get stuff and what you have to modify.

I know there are lots of talk on Facebook pages about these super cheap machines, if only the owners knew how much better their results might be if they spent a fraction more.

Don't limit yourself to machines on Amazon.

You'll soon get through your £70 on a few pads and compound

Why bother with a cheap starter machine. You can use any machine you want, just follow the instructions properly and don't bother trying anything fancy like getting deep scratches out
