Tonight we did a bit more work on the hybrid. Wiped the slate clean on this blend to try some new ingredients.

It's great to be back to development work😍

Will keep you guys updated on how they perform.

Cheers
Paul

Lots of testing today....highs and lows to the point of "breaking" the blend.

By breaking I mean upping ingredients one at a time or collectively to the point where it has a reverse effect on the performance. As shown in the beading pictures here which are reasonably good but I'm aiming for better.

Gloss levels and easy of use has also been improved further with the use of some different polymers which is looking promising.

Dispite ending up with a blend revision which is performing "worse" than where I started, I now know what's needed to take things forward. 😀

I'll be sure to keep you all updated 👍

Many thanks
Paul

Beads look decent there Paul! Keep these updates coming, quite interesting to see the progression of a wax from scratch to final market product

Thanks Brian, appreciate that. I have 7 new revisions to test tonight so I'l post my findings and hopefully it's a step forward.

The original picture (Red Wax) has around 4 months of development to date but I found it's very heavy ingredients wise and felt I could make it simpler and more cost effective to the customer in the end.

The new blend which is based on a the red one is getting there now and almost matching the performance with far less ingredients which just proves I had over "Engineered" the original.

Will keep you guys posted.

Cheers
Paul

Cheers Brian. Yeah it's defiantly one of the stronger ones. Got a few more tweaks yet. Big area of testing with these will be durability so will be a long road ahead. 👍
