I used to find taking the bike to work meant when I got home I was more relaxed and a quick blat rather than stuck in traffic always cleared my head and relaxed me

For me while the idea of driving the Pug spiritedly is appealing, for a 300+ mile drive it starts getting expensive.

However, the sport button does have a certain appeal.

This is going to have to be repeated as the weeks trials and tribulations have re appeared this morning so i need to increase to ozone layer and get out again, its a fantastic morning in NE Scotland one of the best in November i can remember.
Glad others are enjoying their cars as well at this time of year

I was having a lovely drive to Blackpool last night until I hit the car park otherwise known as the M6 at junction 21 where a car had caught fire, they closed the motorway for an hour, gave me a chance to grab some time back after it was reopened though

i love my car this time of year the wet and then hopefully snow. i'm the idiot that is trying to go sideways and doing 4 wheel drifts at any opportunity. only on privet and closed off areas

My only problem is that i haven't had chance to swap my tiers over so i'm still on semi-slicks so we'll see how things pan out this year

I'd had my Scoob about 3 days before I had to make the trip to work through the Blackdown hills and it had snowed all night. The entry to the A303 was shut with a post office LGV jammed across the roundabout so I had to take the scenic route to Exeter. I was literally on the edge of my seat the whole time, there was 12 inches of snow on the top of every hedge. Cars, people carriers and HGVs stuffed in hedges left right and centre. Got to Chard, went around the roundabout to go up the high street and all of a sudden the cars backend was all over the shop, wheels spinning and snow being thrown everywhere, kids were pointing and waving. Couldn't stop laughing as it did it the whole way up the highstreet.

Sounds like my trips every weekend in the 80's early 90's to Avimore, Glenshee, and Lecht all RWD cars and the snow then was crazy sometimes it was like a tunnel the blower cleared 8 feet deep drifts it was as much fun getting there and back as on the mountian

My car has no sport mode and always sounds like a tractor. So between that and the inability in Aberdeen to avoid roadworks I can’t think of anything worse than getting in the car now
