Anyone with any experience .....

Hi guys thinking of getting a Chip for my BMW 116ED looks like only firm who make one for it.
Anyone with any comments or experience.

You're better off with a bluefin. Cost is a bit higher, but those racechip tuningboxes aren't good for your engine.

Generally when they are cheap they are just a resistor that tricks the engine to dump a ton of fuel in, although my uncle has a cheap box on his jag with no detrimental effects as of yet, not sure which one he has though, me personally I remap and I look at who does the best ones for the type of car I have at the time

Id second a remap. For BMW's id either use P-Torque or BW Chiptune. Both very highly reputable tuners for BMW. Iv used P-Torque twice and had fantastic results both times. Il be taking my 330d to BW Chiptune this time around as they claim to get higher gains for my engine

i want to get a bit more power out of mine, i am probably going to go with a Derv Tech remap, results seem positive from other users.
