Which polish and pad combo?

I’m investing in a Flex PE 14-2 rotary. Just looking for some polish and pad recommdations for the following

03’reg Renault Clio (blue)
&
10’reg Alfa Romeo 159 (black)

Edit for the comedians.

Paint colour has little relevance to a polish/pad choices, paint density (hardness) and how deep the scratches are however, relevant

Selecting a suitable polish, things to consider:

Both cars are in pretty good condition, apart from stone chips. the level of correction is more along your general swirls etc not scratches, the colours where mentioned as a formality,I felt it may be relevant but hey ho.

And that’s why iv asked for a recommendation because what’s good for the Alfa might not be as good for the Renault. Some one must have a go to pad & polish combo for either .

But then I guess some folk are secretive of there methods

Thanks for the link,I guess I learn the hard /expensive and definetly the time consuming way

I'd start with some Scholl S20 Black, and some their yellow, purple and blue spider pads. You can then add some S3 XXL to that kit if you need to get more cut, and some S40 or S30+ to remove holograms.

My go to tends to be Scholl S3 Gold XXL with orange flexipad, but mainly as I use it with qd so it doesn't dust, and allows me a smoother glossier finish from it.
As said it is a heavy cut compound, but with the right pads I can work it on most paints.

Menzerna SF3800 for Asian cars, as their paint is very soft and marks easily.

S20 Black is probably the closest to a one step compound.
