Lancia Delta Integrale show prep

If you follow me on social media you will have seen this car already, and know how excited I was to do it.
One of my all time faves

So this is the car after delivery to us

First thing I did was strip a few bits off to allow easier polishing

Then it was given an ONR wash and clay to prep for polishing

Finally the car was taped up to protect the rubbers whilst polishing

The car was booked in for a simple enhancement and sealant, for a glossy durable finish. Unfortunately it was littered in sanding marks and other various defects, so I really had to push the limits of what a single stage could do. Make no mistakes, there were a lot of defects left, I think I probably managed to get 75 to 80% removal

This picture kind of embodies the gains that were made, and the deeper marks that were left

Ever onwards

Another natural 50/50

Some holograms on the back quarter

So in fairness, there were 2 spots that were just too deep for a single stage, so I nipped them out with the rotary very quickly, and refined as part of the enhancement set

I then laid down a layer of prima epic, and left it over night to cure, before buffing

And finally some afters, early morning ready for the show

And to cap the detail off, best in class at tatton

So an honest representation of what can and cant be achieved with a gloss enhancement when shot properly under appropriate lighting

Love these! And a great job. If the wheel and body colour is original, then that means it is one of the 180 Dealer's Collection edition, the very last of the Evo 2's made! Definately one on my wish list!

Always wanted one of these and came very close to it when they where at there cheapest but now sadly wouldn’t be able to justify the cost unless my numbers come up. Cracking job as always and a well deserved trophy for your efforts.

Great job as always Matt and what a stunning car as everyone has said

I know for most folks around my age and driving in the late 80s onwards this has to be a dream car. A relative used to have the martini version though not the integrale but it did look good.

Given the value of the car i'm hoping that the owner has taken some advice from you and booked it back in for a full correction to get it looking at its very best

Stunning car!
A car definitely on my lottery win list.
I've tried 3 times in the past to buy one, then after viewing rot box after rot box I give up and bought something else.
Unfortunately now they are well out of my price range, especially one as clean as this.
Great work btw.
