This has now arrived:

Car will be having the new mounts and dog leg bush done Monday. Hopefully that will be the last of it for a while now!

Yeah, it's been setup pretty tight in the past, it's got a superpro dogbone bush in at the moment, albeit, a 7 year old one... this will probably be the tightest/stiffest incarnation I'll have driven this car in, should be fun!

Spent all day claying this yesterday. Work has been having the metal fencing around the car park painted. They sprayed it :/ cue blue over spray all over all the cars. This was a 6" square section of my bonnet:

Think I got it all off after two hours claying. Then gave it a quick once over with meguiars swirl remover on a medium polishing pad at low speed on DAS6 just to freshen the paint a little before it got its winter coat of Collinite 476s. Pics to follow

Car goes on Monday for the new engine mounts to be fitted. Can't wait, I'm imagining it will transform the handling.

Direct tyres near the market is best place around here for tracking. As for work, it depends what's getting done, the engine mounts are getting changed at garage 87 in Cheadle.

New engine mounts in yesterday...what a difference, it's like night and day! Car is tight and sharp handling again, just a lovely bit of feel as the rear damping kicks in then grip-grip-grip!
So yeah...anyone with a higher mileage motor wanting to make a difference to how it feels...don't forget your engine mounts
