Porsche Boxter major overhaul

Another small soft top in for a big list of work:

-Soft top deep clean and protection
-Wheel and calliper recolour
-Dual stage machine polish and coating
-Glass polish and coating
-Interior detail to include remove dog hair and smell removal

First job was to get the car collected for wheels, the callipers looked old and tired and the wheels were multicoloured. Callipers to go yellow and wheels gloss black.
Once the car was delivered back to me, it went through the usual wash routine to remove dirt and embedded contaminants, plus a deep clean of the fabric hood. Once dried, it was placed in the surgery for extraction

The roof was folded away and trim taped, then machining began. Due to some paintwork it had previously received, there was quite a bit more work to be done on part of the car

The rest of the car was just standard wash marring from a few years of being valeted

Once the car was compounded, and wiped down, it was then refined to remove any haze or feint holograms

Once all that was done, the whole car was coated, (paintwork, glass, roof and interior) and left to cure. Unfortunately it was an overcast hand over day but not raining, so roof down regardless

Whilst the end result looks stunning and top marks for a good result.... In its simplest for you've washed and polished a car.
Hardly befits the title of an overhaul..... That's more akin to a restoration....

Am I the only one who cringed at reading
DOG HAIR REMOVAL!
I wouldn't even let a chihuahua sit in the passenger seat of my beloved 350z....... I'd use the wife's car

Looks like a top to toe job there
You'll just have to stand by the phone waiting for the next interior detail job if the doggy is a regular passenger

Another great job Matt, I miss our old Boxster and now I think I would like a White one if they can look this good.
