Lancia Delta Integrale - detailR - Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

This one was quite a big deal for me
I've been a huge rally fan since I was a kid, and they don't come much cooler than the dominating Lancia Detla.
This Integrale HF Turbo has had a relaxing lifestyle for the last 10 or so years, being sat waiting to be driven and collecting dust and minor marks while being stored away.

To refresh the car, an Enhancement Detail was chosen.

Full safe wash and decontamination,
Single stage machine polish,
Gtechniq protection for body work and glass.

On arrival, it was just dusty with built up grime in the more tricky areas.

The wheels were cleaned before the embedded brake dust was removed with AF Iron Out,

2 hits with snow foam - with all rubbers and tight gaps being aggitated on the second foaming.

There was some adhesive on the bonnet from an old number plate.
This was safely removed.

The car was clayed and ready for polishing.
The aim was to improve the swirling and minor marks while preserving paint for the future.

Before and after machine polishing.

If I didn't run Alfas, this is one of the cars I'd have instead!

Beautiful job.

Absolutely mint, nearly had one when i was serving in Germany in the early 90's but ended up buying a new mk2 Astra GTE 16v, never mind.
