I have also started doing a few sit ups, press ups and dips everyday before I get ready for work and the GF has noticed that I look more toned. I've been doing this for about a month.

Once the weather gets better I'll be out on the bike as I really cant be arsed with these cold wet nights, plus my evening time is mostly devoted to the little one (baby that is)

Mine was going ok up until about a month ago.
I'd exercise in the week and have the weekends off. This consisted of press ups one night, and weights another night. I'd do a 30 min session.

Unfortunately I set myself a running challenge a month ago, so haven't had as much time for weights. I run 3 miles every other night.

Next week will be fun, the clocks will change so I can get back on my bike for my daily 12-14 mile bike ride to work
I'm looking forward to that as it'll save me lots in petrol.

I don't drink any alcohol and have always been quite slim. The running has impressed me the most because I couldn't run the full 3 miles when I started without stopping for a few times. Now I can run all of it and my times are dropping

Anythings possible.... and you don't have to wait until the next 'New Yrs Resolution' to start!!

I currently bike 10k and then run 4 miles on the treadmill each morning, with swimming 2 or 3 times a week as I have a triathlon in June

Going great, over 150 miles a week on the cycle, no weight loss yet but there again muscle is 3x heavier than fat, loads fitter and soon going to up the mileage to at least 250 per week.

Triathlon sounds cool, what distances does that involve?
I wouldn't mind doing something like that but would struggle for time to prepare and not sure I'd have the motivation.

I agree, always good if you have something (time in this case) to aim for
