Thanks, another I'll look at.

Used the S3 Gold for the first time today, used a green flexipad just to play it safe.

Very nice, felt quite safe using it, if anything I half expected more cut, but I loved the long working time that was nice, means I could work it down so no holograms but fast enough to get out the most stubborn marks, provided I took my time.

I'll still look at the megs mf pads, I still find myself wanting more. Took a few passes as this was a real nasty scratch, couldn't get it all the way as what was left wasn't a scratch, more a dent into the plastic so giving the appearance of a scratch.

However brought it right down safely. I've used far harsher feeling cutting polishes, but then I did start out years ago using Tcut.

I reckon a black pad would work best with the S3 Gold, follows the body better and even longer working time.

Don't use the black pad with S3 gold it has no cutting power to break down the abrasives in the compound if you are using the the pad I suggest you use it with S40 finishing polish
