Costs of detailing in the North West

Can any one provide a guide on pricing for a detailer to do the following :

Decontamination
Clay
Stage 1 polish
Ceramic coating

Appreciate difficult to price a vehicle without seeing the condition however condition is good and a guide is what I am looking for

Might help if you say what type/size of car. Would be a big difference between a Fiat 500 to a Range Rover!

I’m guessing at about £500-£600ish for a single stage Polish, if that’s your requirements. I think if I was going to the trouble of a coating I’d want it fully corrected rather than just a single stage.

Its not difficult to price if completing an agreed job. It only becomes complicated if the customer requires a specific outcome as in "I want it nearly perfect". If you want a single stage enhancement then you will get a single stage enhancement, the results will be what the results will be

I am based in saddleworth, between Yorkshire and Manchester. A standard new car prep (of which I have countless examples in the studio here) is £650. Thats a wheels off, full ceramics package. Takes me 3 days to complete. An executive car will be subject to a large car addition.

A single stage will usually get 60-75% defect removal on an average car, on a newer car all things being equal 95% defect removal.
