Ferrari 360 Speaker Grille Refurb

The paint on the metal speaker grilles on 360s tend to get scuffed by shoes as people get in and out of the car. As a result, when the interior is wiped clean or treated they tend to corrode. The grilles were not dented or deformed in any way.

I decided to refurbish mine. It entailed taking the door panel off, removing the speaker and then disassembling the grille from the driver and removing the foam backing.

The grill was wire brushed, sanded with wet and dry paper and then resprayed with satin black paint. The delicate foam backing was gently washed.

(The before and after pics are of different sides of the car but they both looked similar before and after).

That's pretty shocking to see in such a high-end marque....very poor quality.

A great job on the fix though
