Alfa Romeo 155 3.0 12V V6 "Concours" (ss paint)

Hey Guys,

I friend of mine hopped by today for a detail of his beautyfull 155 3.0 12V V6 H&S Corse Evo. This is a stunning V6 which produces 220 BHP. It's like a little red rocket

I started early this morning, hughe hangover, but that should'nt make a difference . Started inspecting the car and the whishes of the owner. This car, is just as my car "prepped for trackdays". So the alloys were very very filthy, the owner said. Nothing to do about it. I will give them a respray! Because Spectaclo Sportivo (biggest alfa trackday of europe) is just a weekend ahead he wanted to have his car in showroom state. No problem because the owner is very need on his carpaint.

I started working and noticed this car had a Single stage paint. Here is my plan of today

- Wheels with PURE wheelbrightner, they were #^*#^#^filfty, and not getting clean
- Tires, arches & under the bonnet with Safe D greaser
- High pressure washing with #62, en GC
- Wash with #62 & washmit
- Dry with Watermagnet & Last touch
- Clay; agressive with last touch
- tar; bodysolvent
- taped the car up with scotch
- W8006 & #80
- #7 by hand
- Some cleanser
- 1 layer of Concours
- 1 layer of pete's 53
- Windows with Glass cleaner
- Interior with APC & NXt techprotectant
- All chrome with AMP

Pictures tell more than a 1000 words

Arrival ( I ask myself how much muscito's the BMC sucks in )

Lots of grease

And then the wheels

just to show the owned the two bucket concept

Clean alloys

Stripping the trims

Aint no pary like a single stage ...

Some friends dropped by! He had a new brake kit on his 156

After polishinh & waxing

Cleaning up the trims

My favorite wetlook shot

Tomorrow I will post some more pictures, my photobucket is now going mad Thanks for reading

Very Very Nice

Despite using Wheel Brightner Neat, there is still some dirt on these wheels?

I know, the wheels didn't got 100% clean. There were some horrible spots which whe didn't get clean , probably very hot brake dust from the carbon brake pads

Fabulous stuff on a stunning car - the 155s are fookin' gorgeous, genuine avant-garde design.
The other Alfas look damn slick too...
