building a mini for my daughter

well not much more i can do on my minis so my daughter is 17 in march next year and wants a classic mini so bought a bloody good shell and is going to workshop tomorrow to get bodywork done before bad weather comes .

here are some pics before it goes on truck tomorrow

































welding wise up to now is

new front panel

bit under front wheel arch in front of inner sill


but i am sure there will be more when i start digging


and finally for now a pic with its brother " THE JOKER "

She's a very lucky young lady, wish i had the skills to put into my daughters first wheels, just bought her a fabia.

cheers fella , hope she appreciates it ,bought her a white clio and got it all ready and covered up till next year but she goes to mini meets and events with us and insists on a mini so hay/ho the clio has gone and money spent on this so far .

Can't beat some father and daughter bonding with a mini. I have lost count of the times dad has set himself on fire welding mine lol.

Will keep an eye on this one if the joker is anything to go by
