g30 5 series Msport new car prep

Evening all. Thought id do a little thread to document detailing my new 5 series. Had it delivered on friday and have already given it a maintenance wash following delivery to tide it over until tomorrow when i plan to begin correction. As i posted in the general thread having inspected it very quickly it seems to be very tidy indeed so im hoping to get away with very little correction.

Photo after a good wash on friday attached below.

I wanted to get the wheels sorted before starting the paintwork so planned to do them thia afternoon. Unfortunately due to the akwardness of the jacking points i could only remove one wheel at a time so it took me 6 hours in the end. I think the result is worth it though.

Before an after shots below.

Jetwash, apc, autowheel, full wash with brush and mitt followed by a rinse and a claying. Then dried and applied 3 coats of poorboys wheel sealant (only one incould get at short notice so will see how it holds) and 2 coats of autoglym performance tire shine. Must say they look mint.

Part 2 to follow as i go...

Best regards

Now the sun was absolulutely beaming so it was a mare to dry quick enough. The water mark was terrible so i followed the clay lube with some upol which managed ti get the paintwork clean and spot free

Managed to get the whole rear done along with the roof and one rear quarter. Reflection shot from the roof looks promising
