Arrow Magic Detail • Audi R8 • Minor Correction & CQuartz UK !!

Hi guys and gals

Things have been a little hectic here lately so I apologise for the lack of write-ups. Hopefully this one will quench the thirst of those wanting to see some correction and gloss enhancement! And what better way to finish this awesome piece of kit than some long lasting protection - CQUK & Reload was applied to this one

This one saw me on my travels to Manchester city centre, where this Audi had been residing, and had suffered some water / lime etching from the concrete roof in the underground car park

The car was pretty clean on arrival, and as I was doing this job across a Saturday and Sunday so that my client wasn't inconvenienced without his car (daily runner) I had to be quick so didn't take any pictures on arrival..

Some paint defects recorded under the halides though;

Someone had been here before me

Some shots part way through, during the cutting phases using the Rupes Bigfoot system

Once the cutting was completed using Rupes Zephir and blue coarse pad, I opted to sharpen the finish using Rupes Keramik Gloss and the yellow pad. Technically speaking it was 'corrected in one stage' and was good enough to jump straight to finishing, only I wanted better results for my client so added in the extra stage So I rinsed the car down to remove all the polishing dust, pat and blow dried it, followed by an Eraser wipedown in preparation for CQuartz UK..

Interior fabric and leather was treated with CarPro's F&L.

Engine bay plastics were treated to CarPro DLUX, as were the wheels!

These were some other photo's of the car finished that I took using different exposure levels etc with the halides off..

Hope you enjoyed the pictures?

As always, any comments, questions and feedback is welcome.

Don't forget to check out my daily goings on via Facebook

Thanks for looking,
Matt.
