Wow you cleaned the paint work up on that immensely!

And you have improved the inside ten fold by fitting that chequered floor

Subscribed I do like a T25, and thats looking great.

Always wanted to try a camper - and I finally am as we're hiring one for a week next month! Any tips for a first timer?

I'll keep that in mind, it's got a 1.9DG block in there at the moment and it pulls alright tbh, but they are prone to the head studs rusting out and killing the cylinder heads, at that point it's £2800 for a reconditioned engine, which I'd be inclined to do an engine swap over (Subaru, PD lumps and Golf GTI engine swaps are popular too).

Very nice. I've developed quite a soft-spot for VW vans. A T4 in metallic blue with some monoblock style rims gets some stuff stirring.

I'm getting quite accustomed to driving this now, can understand how/why people daily them. Just got it booked in for early next month, having the underside steam cleaned and under sealed, coolant and brake fluid flushed and renewed, plus a general health check. Van feels all good but always nice knowing that after a good mechanic has given it a once over

Loving it and really fancy the idea of a Japanese Campervan, but ££ is the killer!

Similar issues I imagine, rust! I know you can get bongo's at good prices but it's finding them not rotten.
