A none gloss rubber and trim dressing

I use Koch Chemie Plast Star (PS). Applies to a silk finish, next day it's completely dark and matt.

Lasts about a month on rubbers and nearly two weeks on tyres. If your car stays out of the sun, it'll last more than a month.

I did an Audi A1; one side lives in the sun and the other side doesn't. The side sitting in the sun has dropped off after week 3, and needs touching up at week 4. This is with one layer though so I think the second coat won't sink in as much and should last longer.

I'm expecting to apply this once or twice once the sun stops and it'll get me through winter completely.

I've stopped trying anything that is water based as they just run off in the rain.

If you only wanted to do rubber trim and plastic, another option is Solution Finish, but I haven't tried my bottle as yet.

I have another car where some AutoGlanz Synth Seal got into the window rubbers and got buffed in. That has lasted about 6 months and I need to do a proper test as it appears to be the holy grail. Keep forgetting to do it...

If you need something for seals and rubber window trims, Sonax GummiPflege is great.

Are the manufacturers running out of names?

Why? Sonax is German brand, and Gummi Pflege means rubber care, so everything is ok with this one.
