I coincidentally asked the same question via email last week. I was told that the Atomiza Dispensing Pump will fit the Surfex HD 5L bottle.

I've ordered and received it but have yet to try it out - was hoping to do so this weekend.

Apologies for the delay but I finally got round to trying it today. The Atomiza pump fits the bottle perfectly. The only issue I had was trying to make it dispense sensibly as the surfex is so thin that it shoots out so you need to be a little careful when using the pump. This may also be due to the bottle being very full.

I just use a cheap plastic funnel I got as a pack out of one of the bargain shops and pour into a sprayer as it's always diluted and never had an issue.

I also bought cheap plastic measuring jugs which I also use and it's easy to pour from the main 5l container into them.

I'd agree Asim I think it would be difficult to use a pump dispenser as it's so thin.

I also use a funnel, but I use that to pour about a litre of concentrated product (Auto Foam or Surfex) into a used, well washed out lemonade bottle. Then the big 5l jerry cans stay on the shelf most of the time, and I use the lemonade bottles to measure out the 1-200ml that you might use to make up solutions (again using the funnel to avoid spills).

Thanks macca and steelghost for the funnel tip. I think I will do the same as it'll be less fiddly and messy.

Also steelghost, I hope you store the surfex-filled lemonade bottle carefully to avoid any unpleasant mix ups

Quite right, would not want to be using lemonade on the car.

Thanks to Asim and everyone else who has chipped in to help on this thread; we've been run off our feet this month and have barely had any time for DW and our social platforms. The help is much appreciated.
