Best prep for Fusso Coat?

Hi all,

I have searched low and high but have not found any solid answer for the above, as I think there is some debate over wether the product is a wax or a sealant.

I have read that some pre wax cleaners leave oils that are a great prep for waxes, where as sealants require squeaky clean paint. I have CarChem pre-wax cleaner that I'll use, but unsure if I should wipe it down after with CP Eraser or IPA for the best prep method?

Any thoughts very welcome

Make sure it's properly decontaminated first then wipe it over with panel wipe, good to go after that, it's a sealant really so you can wax over the top if you wanted to. That's what I've done on the Mrs car

Ive decon'd it all when used before, and got great results, but I wasn't sure wether to prep it with something that left oils or to give it a wipe down too for bare paint

I wouldn't use a glaze personally. The product itself fills quite well, but as it lasts a long time using a product with a weaker bond prior will disrupt its potential

Apply to bare paint so full paint decontamination and cleanse/polish. IPA wipe down to remove any remaining oils then apply Fusso.

Bare paint is best, but something with a sealant base like SRP or Prima Amigo wont do much harm. Oily bases will greatly reduce its durability.

I've used it with srp and amigo, lasted six months easy.
