Lightbulb M&K Detailing World Forum Edition Car Wax (suggestions!!!!)

Hello Everyone,

I was doing a live video on Instagram (other social media companies available) and DW mentioned making a forum edition wax...

As a huge fan of DW and originally joining the Forum roughly 13 years ago, it's fair to say I've hugely enjoyed my time here and owe much of my career to DW.

We are in the early stages of design and I would like to get as many of you involved as possible.

Here are some of the ways where you can help us!

1. Suggest the wax type, such as winter/high gloss/daily driver etc
2. Fragrance ideas
3. Colour of wax
4. Any other important characteristics such as curing time, beading, application

Pricing Details;

50ml 35.00 (limited to 36 pots)
200ml 99.00 (limited to 24 pots)

We've had a few requests to reserve a wax already so...You can now reserve your wax!! http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...15#post5426815

Thank you very much, John.

P.S. Once live, you will put your name on a reservation list for either the 50ml or 200ml, or you can take both. We will pick a name at random from the list and you will receive your wax for free!!

BUT!!! you have to suggest something in the comments section below

Each wax will be numbered, signed and dated. The reservation list number will coincide with your wax number so that you can choose your favourite number!

Like the sound of this John so here's my suggestions

1. With summer coming a show wax
2. Something fruity or my favourite of yours coffee scented
3. Would have to be blue like the DW logo
4. Easy application/removal and nice beading would be my choice.

Here's my tuppence worth.. ...

1. Given it's a limited edition forum wax I think a high gloss show wax.
2. Salted caramel.
3. With so many coloured waxes a natural colour would be nice or as above a blue similar to the DW logo.
4. As it's a show wax not too fussed about the beading but easy use for application and removal with a short cure time and including use on plastics would be good.

Not asking too much

Well........

1. I agree, as it’s a limited edition it should be a show wax - super glossy
2. Full fat Irn-Bru scent
3. It’s-Bru colour scheme. Not sure which way round for wax/pot (If you don’t know the colours then order 100’s worth from John and you’ll get a free bottle )
4. Don’t mind the curing time, but would want the usual east to apply/remove. How’s about going for something totally different for you though - maybe something to compete with the new bunch of ceramic waxes?

Here is my 2 bobs worth.....

1. For me it has to be a daily driver wax type. I know many people on here, like me, use their cars as daily drivers so that should fit in well with what we are all looking for.

2. How about a blueberry scent?

3. For the colour, could it be a blue mixed. What I mean is use the blue colours of this forum colour scheme (and just looking at this page there are a few shades) and have them as a marble effect all sat nicely within a silver pot.

4. Application should be easy in both shaded areas and sunlight to make it a year round wax for the daily driver. As much in the way of hydrophobic and gloss properties as possible (who doesn't love beading, sheeting and lots of gloss on DW). Lastly....4-6 months longevity.

That's all thanks

1. Would be a summer show wax for me also.
2. I think Irn-Bru (as already said) would be great.
3. Something really bright like neon yellow.
4. Would like a wax you can apply to the whole car in one go,with really easy removal even if you over apply.

1. Definitely a high gloss wax as we all love a glorious glossie car
2. Almond scent would smel amazing in warmer conditions
3. Cream colour so you can even see it applied to a white car
4. As above, being able to apply it to the whole car then easy removal is what everyone wants.

This is a great idea!

1) Something glossy that can be used
on a daily driver would be cool.

2) I've always loved the smell of TCP tbh
Or something fresh like Lime. Irn Bru was a brilliant suggestion as well

3) DW blue, or something special like gold.

4) Easy application that can be done in most weather conditions.

That's all I can think of at the mo
