Less durable coatings??

I get a car through work which means I get a new one every 9 months. I like the idea of ceramic coatings and easier cleaning etc but the big selling point for coating is the durability. Obviously I don't need a coating that last years.

Can anyone recommend a good sealant or coating that has 6-9 months durability? I've seen Gyeon Cancoat which seems not far off what I want. Could get a few applications out of a can and seems easy to apply. But open to any recommendations.

Gyeon CanCoat or perhaps Kamikaze Overcoat (if you're feeling flush) or Gtechniq Exo would be 3 to consider.

Gyeon have brought out a couple of new quartz coatings for 2018, both aimed at the enthusiast and to offer an introduction into coating protection. These are aimed to provide a healthy 12 months durability.

I did look at the new one coating. But it’s £35 for one coating application. Cancoat is under £30 and I’ll get a few applications out of one can. I’m not sure the new one coating is worth the extra cash.

Initial thought would be EXO as it's more a semi permanent coating over a full on coating but it's not cheap and not likely to last in its pot opened ready for the next car in 9 months.

As a cheap alternative consider sonax polymer net shield. Lasts really well. You'll get several applications out of a can and the can won't loose its shelf life like the other products so you can keep on using it when the new car arrives.

2 Coats of Exo are recommended and 30ml will allow this on a medium size vehicle with little if any remaining especially if the trim, side and rear windows and also the wheels are coated. I doubt little if any would be left to go to waste.
