Garage gym conversion

Started to refurb my garage in March and finally got it "finished" last week. Still a few finishing touches to do but am more than happy with it for the time being.

As it's a decent size double garage wanted one side for a gym and the other for parking a car/detailing.

Basically ive ripped off all shelves etc and painted all of the walls with two coats of crown emulsion (boy that wasn't fun), then painted the floor and laid foam tiles.

Still need to add some shelves to the walls for extra storage and a chalkboard for logging my weights/reps etc.

Anyway on to the pics....

This is the garage from the outside

This is what I started with

Walls painted

Floor painted and foam EVA floor tiles laid. I painted the first course of bricks with the floor paint too as with the darker colour being easier to keep clean.

Gym equipment in place and racking up

That looks great. I can understand your pain of painting brickwork.

Looks great but now that you've gone to the trouble of sprucing it up to man cave basic, wouldn't it be better to go a step further, get rid of the torture devices and put in a large sofa, a beer fridge and a widescreen TV? Just askin'.

Seriously, though, nice work.

Thanks, Yes fits in fine with enough room to manoeuvre both sides and back but need to reverse it out a little to get to the front or drive it in backwards.
