Wow, what a great looking car! Love the mods, subtle and classy. I like it when people do a better job than the manufacturer, as if to say. “Ford, this is how it should have been done”. But then I suppose you wouldn’t have the fun of doing it yourself.

Great read mate and awesome car

Minor update and another mod this weekend.

I really wanted the black roof option on my Mustang but on the ltd Shadow Editions this was not an option available annoyingly.

So Iíve had the roof wrapped in 3M Gloss Black by Wrap Kings in Stourbridge. Have to say the quality of the workmanship is exceptional.

It looks great and Iím really pleased albeit I was hoping for a bit more gloss and depth of shine to be honest. May end up having the roof professionally painted at some point.

Also have the car a good clean, my god the ceramic coating is good itís like glass the dead flies literally just hose off !!

The eagle eyed of you will have noticed a plume of black smoke in the sky in some of the pics, not sure whatís happening but clearly there is a big fire somewhere local. Just hope everyoneís ok !

'kin hell, something is well alight

Not sure about the wroof wrap, i get the idea but like you i'm not so sure it's right just yet and i think your idea of having painted whilst extreme, might be the onyl way to get the end result you are after.
Still, she does look amazing

Very subtle mod today, in that I went back to Extreme Gleam to have the new vinyl wrap ceramic coated.

They only applied two of the three layers he did explain why they couldnít do all three layers whereby I think it was down to the potential for the hard final coating to fracture on the softer vinyl.

I was also hoping the ceramic coating would help bring out some more gloss to the wrap. Iím somewhat disappointed with the levels of gloss of the wrap finish. The wrap has helped me decide that a black roof is definitely the way to go, and in time I will have it painted properly.

See if you can spot the difference gloss level wise or not

I also changed the front plate back to a darker tinted one to match in with the whole black moody accent theme !
