Mk5 Golf R32

After 3 years gone by since selling my mk4 R32 I decided to get another but wanted something newer and abit more modern so went for a mk5

Here's a couple of my mk4.......

The mk4 had 1 owner and 36k on the clock when I bought it, the mk5 is an ex demo so 1 owner plus supplying dealer with 98k on the clock.

The mk5 is very tidy considering the miles it has but is in need of a good machine polish

Spec list......

2007 '07 plate
Ex demo so 1 owner plus supplying dealer smith knight fay Oldham.
Black pearl
3 Door
Manual
Leather Recaro's buckets heated
Mfd2 satnav
Sunroof
Cruise control
Electric folding mirrors with puddle lights
Highline display ( I think )
Parrot hands free
Multi function steering wheel
6 cd changer in armrest
18" Omantys
98k full vw service history all smith night fay Oldham

Here's a couple when i got her home

I was best man at my mates wedding on the 28th so we used the R32 for his wedding car, due to the snow we have had in sheffield we just gave the car a quick wash and put ribbons on the front.....

You can see how dull and swirled the door is in this pic

I haven't got any major plans for this other than get the paint work polished up to the standard my mk4 was and just keep it running sweet improving things as I go along.

Really nicely specced MKV, but I can't help thinking that the MKIVs were just a bit more special, if you know what I mean!

I'm not into these much, but looking at the blue MKIV I would have to agree.

Can you change chrome fround end to body colour on the MKV?

I know what you mean about the mk4 being special especially in blue pearl it looks awesome, the only reason I have a black mk5 is because I wasn't too fussed on colour more on the spec this time, lots of people have had the mk5 front grill painted or wrapped to get rid of the silver but I quite like it

Clean car considering it had 98K on the clock. I went to view one in Glasgow a couple of weeks ago with 36K miles and it was an absolute dog. Just shows mileage isn't everything!
