Cut and polish my VW T5 transporter

Hello all you fine folks,

I have recently bought myself a 2013 deep black T5 and it badly needs a cut and polish, having only ever polished soft paint cars I dont think any of my pads or compounds will be of any use (lake country orange and green pads and menzerna 3800 and 2500)

What would you guys recommend to use with my DAS 6 pro??

Thanks for reading

There's been a few write ups on here of people doing T5s I'm sure they said what they had used.

Okay I'm looking at doing a 2 stage comp and polish, its too big to fit in my garage so will be getting done on fair weather days on my drive, I will be taking my time so doing it each side at a time, if it takes a week or 2 or even 3 I'm going to enjoy it so no issues.

Im just off the phone to a good guy at CYC who also has T5 and says the paint is as hard as it gets so recommended the following products, any advise on whats been advised would be much appreciated!

Meguiars DA Microfiber Cutting Pads 5.5 in. (2 Pack)
Menzerna - Super Heavy Cut 300 (250ml)
Menzerna Super Finish 3500 (PO106FA)
Shinemate - T20 White Polishing & Finishing Pad
Shinemate - White T20 Finishing Spot Pad

Your paint may well be as hard as granite but it might not be, so do a test spot to see what works for your paint

Meguiars DA Microfiber Cutting Pads 5.5 in. (2 Pack) yes!
Menzerna - Super Heavy Cut 300 (250ml) change to 400
Menzerna Super Finish 3500 (PO106FA). Yes
Shinemate - T20 White Polishing & Finishing Pad
Shinemate - White T20 Finishing Spot Pad

Like above^^^^ do a test spot first but remember to make sure you fully prime your MF pads first then ensure you clean them between sets, you don't want to be causing more damage with paint/clear in your pad.
