Polishing an entire car with 4 inch pads

Has anyone ever done this? My Alfa is full of curves and I was thinking that 4 inch pads might be easier to work with, I have plenty of time.

Never done a whole car but cant see why its not possible. You say youve got plenty of time and thats probably the only difference that it will take longer. The smaller pads are better for curves so they are easier to handle.

Have 2_weeks off, wife at work, car won't be used, thinking of 2 panels a day, washing and decontaminating as I go, would also ensure pads are clean and dry for next day. Just a thought, nothing worse than rushing polishing.

Due to the numerous curves on the panels of my TT I had to use a 4" pad on possibly as much as 50% of the car.

It does take longer but the smaller pad cuts better than a larger 6" pad when using a DA.

If there's no rush you can just take your time and get every panel as good as you can before moving to the next.

My thoughts exactly, sure we all get a tad bored towards the last few panels,
