What spec compressor for spraying?

I used to have one of those and did do some spraying with it, and whilst it did the job, sometimes the compressor would struggle to keep up with demand from the tank. This was highlighted further when using other air hungry tools.

I now have a 3hp twin cylinder jobbie and the difference is night and day, only things like a tornador that my friend has make it remotely break into a sweat.

These thing are not cheap, and I wish I'd made a better decision earlier and saved myself a couple of hundred quid. I would also budget for a filter to keep water out of your air line, as water in the line can be a real pain.

Hope it helps.
